So, it’s the belief of the administration that a bill from their side would pass IF THEIR OPPONENTS give it a fair shake. But then they say that their opponent’s bill won’t pass at all, meaning they won’t look at it or, heaven forbid (gasp), compromise on it? am I reading that right?
To me, it looks like they are saying that the other side must compromise and give in, yet they aren’t willing to do the same.
I could be wrong, but that’s the impressions this statement is making to me.
