After a long day at a client, it’s good to finally be home.
I spent the day at a client out of town. That in and of itself isn’t too bad. I like the client. It’s always a pleasure to go work with them. But trying to cover my own organization’s support line, focus on working with a software support team for the client I was at, and being worried about my wife while she recovered didn’t exactly make for the best of time.
But the good news is that my client work was productive, and my wife was able to recover will today. And now, I am home, grilling shrimp, asparagus, and rice for dinner, all while enjoying the nice patio furniture on the desk and blogging.
There may be something fundamentally wrong with this picture, but for me, it’s nice.
