In honor of National Hot Dog day, I have decided to celebrate with my own creation of a “hot” dog.  And do I hope for, hot.
1 Hillshire Farm Turkey Pepper Jack Smoked Sausage
1/4 slice Velveeta Pepper jack flavored cheese
1/4 sliced roma tomato
1 tsp Jack Daniels Honey Mustard
1 tsp Heinz ketchup with jalapeno flavoring
2 sliced pepperoncini’s
For sides:
kosher pickles
2 cups steamed broccoli, seasoned with Tony Chere’s Cajun seasoning and 3/4 slice Velveeta pepper jack cheese.
And now that I’ve completed my lunch, I discovered one thing.  Even adding some Bubba Gump Hot sauce, it still wasn’t hot enough.  Perhaps I should have gone with adding the pickled jalapenos?
