Happy Mother’s Day

Today is one of those days.  Today we celebrate and thank our mothers for all they have done for us.  They brought us into this world (“…and I can take you out of it!”, as my mom used to say), provide for us, feed us, feed us, clothe us, teach us, discipline us, and love us.

For many, our moms are still around and we can spend today making them feel special (personal thought: we should do that every day, shouldn’t we?).  But for many of us, our moms are no longer here, and we must deal with the feelings of missing them.

Today, I have many friends and family who are recently new mothers themselves.   And many of my friends are mothers many times over (yes, Tammy Silen, I’m talking about you!!!  Smile)  So today, I wish all of my lady friends and family with kids, Happy Mother’s Day.  Remember, you are special to your children, not just today, but every day of the year.
